The GamePark Holdings GP2X-F100

The GP2X-F100

The GP2X-F100 (commonly known as the GP2X), produced by the Korean manufacturer Gamepark Holdings, is a portable Linux based game console and media player. I first heard about it about around early July 2007, but it's been around since 2005 (I think...).

Specs

  • OS - Linux
  • CPU - Dual CPU Cores @ 200Mhz (software overclockable): ARM920T + ARM940T
  • RAM - 64Mb
  • Flash RAM - 64Mb
  • Storage - SD-cards

Games and applications

As far as I know there are not many commercial games around for the GP2X. Most games are ports or rewrites of classic games (like Duke Nukem), homebrew projects (like my own stuff) or emulators running the games of old classics (like the Commodore64, NeoGeo, SNES, Amiga, Atari and much more).
